Record Low!

I had *21* answering machines tonight! That's got to be the lowest number ever!!!

I also made $450 from 3 people...got $200 from 2 different people who have been out of MIT longer than I've been alive and never gave any money!

The first guy was awesome--we talked for almost 20 minutes. He's a high school teacher in South Carolina who retired from the Air Force...actually, he teaches Jr ROTC! It was cool. We talked a bit about my disqualification and others that he has seen. One of the really awesome things about him is that he actually started the detachment that he's running right now! Apparently the school that he's at made some big deal with the Air Force and the whole community was really, really happy to have them. (He got a call for Color Guard the 2nd week that he was set up) He even has his own drill pad! It's amazing...a pad just for him...well as long he can keep the old beat up pick ups off of it. Apparently the red necks like to take the short cut across his drill pad. :) anyway, yes, he was great fun to talk to!
