Is It Worth It?

I am 1 class away from a Minor in CMS . . . it wasn't even remotely on purpose! The only reason I even thought to look was that I saw that the deadline for Minor Paperwork is coming up*. Low and behold, here I am, if I take this one class next semester, I will have a minor . . . if I take this one and any one from this list, I think I would have a "Joint Major" . . . I'm not sure about that if my "6 subjects in an Engineering or Science Major" are for my major . . . but I'm not really sure I'd want to take another one anyway, I don't think that I'll need those extra credits, but who knows...that's in a few months, I have time to think.

* By coming up, I mean that I put it in my calendar . . . it's not until January, when all of the I'm-Graduating-Now paperwork comes due.

Having been out in the real world and interviewed people, in my view a minor helps you if you want to move into the field but it wasn't your primary major. Otherwise it is mostly resume padding (and there is something to be said for resume padding).

I'd take the class if you ever plan on moving into a CMS-like area, if it sounds interesting, or if you think you'll need it as resume padding.

Also, what is up with the bi-polar posting behavior?

That's what i figured...I'll probably wait until Dec to make the decision for sure...make sure that the class will fit with the 1 course 6 class that i need to take.

as far as the "bi-polar posting" thing is concerned...what? The internet has been MIA for a while...that doesn't mean I've not been writing things in word...
