Wow. I head home today!

Just a few more hours, that's all the time I've got...

I head to the Airport in just about 4 hours! Wow...headed home to California to see you all! So exciting. I' m really looking forward to it.

I've been spending the last few days here quite well. After finals (and I passes all my classes, thank you very much!) and that strange sleep schedule that I had, it was anyone's guess as to when I would be sleeping and what I would be doing....As it turns out, I found myself sleeping somewhat regularly hours! Amazing, I know!

Quite a few people on our hall actually left Thursday or Friday....most Thursday. But there were a couple of other girls that left Saturday and we had a lot of fun together Friday. We were all done with our last finals Thursday, so we stayed up late and played N64 (what fun). Then Friday Ruth, Karen, and I explored Boston a little. We went to Downtown Crossing and did a little Christmas Shopping and walked around. We found some really good deals, but the most exciting thing was that there was a HUGE Borders Book Store in the area. It was amazing! The building was 5 stories tall and I think 3 of them were the book store. It was awesome!! We found our way to the Children’s section and read Doctor Seuss' The Sleep Book. It was great! We sat there and read it all and then we lay down like we were going to nap because we were quite tired.

After Downtown Crossing we came back to the dorm to meet up with some other people who weren't up at 1, when we left. We all headed out to Quincy Market at the Government Center T-Stop to have dinner and do a little more exploring. We all had Bread Bowls for dinner--it was so good!

Saturday morning I got up early! 8:00 AM! I know, what a shocker, right? Well, not really when you know that we went out for Dim Sum...That's right! Ruth and Karen had to leave by 11 to catch their planes, so we went out early. We went to a little place that Karen goes to with her family all the time, it was delicious! It was a little sad, the way that we ate cause we only had about forty-five minutes, but oh well, it was so good! AND, I was happy for hours because of it! :) So happy! :)

After that I went to the Airport with them so that I won't get lost today, it was fun, and Karen needed help with her bags. At any rate, it was fun. When I got back to my room I slept. I wasn't planning on it, but I did. For a long time :) oh well!

Anyway, after that I discovered that there aren't many people left here. The only people who were here at 8, when I woke up are the hall ghosts (those people that we don't see), Chieu, Chris, and myself. I hung out in Chris' room and watched the X-Files until a while ago, when I came back to my room to start packing. Now, I'm basically done packing and I'm contemplating the best way for me to get to the airport....My uniform and Christmas presents took a little more room than I anticipated. Oh well, it'll all work out for the best! :)

Well, there are just a few more things that I need to take care of before I head out! You know, little things, like cleaning the room, making the bed....that sort of stuff.

Oh, yeah, it will probably be my last post of the year! Not because I just don't wanna write--kinda cause most the people who read it are the people that I am going to go home and visit, but mostly because dial-up internet sucks and I'm not sure I could stand to try. I'm so sad that I'm leaving my 100Mb Ethernet connection *sniffle*sniffle* and 50-some-odd-Mb wireless. So sad! But anyway--Merry Christmas and Happy New Year and I'll be back to writing about Jan 22...when I return to the world of a Class B IP Address License Thingy (that's right: My building (half of my dorm) has a Class B!!--Let's hear it for MIT!). What was I talking about? Oh that's right....bye!
