The Box!

I thought I’d take some of my “free time” here on Spring Break to let you know a little more about how I'm living here…I know I should be starting with my room, MIT campus, or even Cambridge or Boston, but I'm not…those are too much work! I’ve got to clean my room (although, I'm working on that one and should be ready by tomorrow) or I’d have to decide where the best places on campus or in the area would be to take pictures. At any rate, I'm distracted…I'm going to start with my jewelry box (mostly because I love it so much!

This is where my box sits...oh, the beauty that is it!


This is one thing that I really like...
Even if I can't really use it now cause the box is behind my laptop, but it's not like I need to because I've got a mirror in my room.
Anyway, I really like that you can prop the lid open a little way and support the mirror at just the right angle :)...it's so happy!

Just the Top.
I've got my most-worn necklaces up top
(they are mostly the chains that I can and do put other charms on).


And, in the bottom, I've got all my rings...
Everything from finger and toe rings to earrings and belly button rings!
Oh so happy! I've even got them all organized!


I really like the little ring holder things that most jewelry boxes have...
they are very nice to have for belly-button rings!


with little boxes for studs and hoops and sets...
I've even got a square for all of my star and moon stuff!


Front Left Side...
I really like the hooks all over the place for hanging necklaces...
even in the doors! I have my nicer necklaces on this side...


Front Right Side...
These are the necklaces that I wear most often
(easier to get to on this side because my space in my room is limited).


ohh...Hooks even in the doors...
Even with the pouches to keep them from swinging all over the place!


I've even found uses for some of the drawers...
this one is for my anklets!


and this one for my bracelets...

And that's my box! It makes me so happy! Mostly because it's one of those things where everything has a place. I love that...so organized...so easy to keep organized...and best of all: I can fit it all in one place and still be able to use it effectively! Oh...feel the joy!
