Whops...I've forgotten to post!

Yeah.....That's about all I can say, I've forgotten....I mean I have excuses: I've been sick (for just over a month now), I've been hosed (3 tests week before last and big .001 Project last week), I've been sleeping more than any normal human should be able to stand. I guess they are all technically valid excuses, but I still feel like there's not a good enough reason for going this long without posting, or calling your parents or calling your best friend or...or...or all of the other things I've not been doing lately. At any rate...it's time to do a 2+ week recap....hopefully it's kinda short (at least not too long).....

Ok....let's start with Bad Taste (cause that's where I was the last time I posted)....BAD TASTE WAS AWSOME! The 'theme'--I guess that's what I would call it--but I don’t really like that...the main skit used a lot of chemistry puns (I didn’t know there were that many bad Chemistry jokes, but there really are!)...there were also a lot of comical lists and acronyms, or I guess new meanings for old MIT acronyms....It was all quite entertaining and worth the 72 hour wait out side (not that I was there the whole time...no one was, but it was worth having someone there 72 hours in advance)

The next week was REALLY busy....I had 2 exams and a make-up exam. .001 (programming) Wednesday, calc and physics on Thursday. I didn't do as well on any of them as I would have liked, but oh well! I didn't do too poorly. (And yes, that is all I'm going to say on that topic.) That Friday was MilBall. It was so much fun! I took Vic from First East (same dorm, different hall) and we had a great time. I was going to go to an after party with some of the other cadets, but after we got back to my dorm and I started to change I realized that I didn’t have the energy to change, much less got out again. So I stayed in a talked to a couple people on my hall as they made waffles, ate a couple waffles, and headed to bed.

Last week flew by fast. I went to the doctor Monday cause I'd been sick for 3 weeks--she gave me a prescription and told me to go back the next Monday if I wasn’t feeling better (and I'm actually worse, so I have to give her a call tomorrow). I also had my first project in 4.301 due Monday. It turned out kinda cute, I made a remote control bug (I know, I know, I'm obsessed). There was an engine made out of wax, but it kinda got hurt on the way back from class and I don't have time to fix it (not to mention, it make the car harder to drive cause to adds a lot of weight and it wasn’t attached very well). The only other thing that really happened last week was that I had a .001 project due on Friday and it was really long! I spent at least 2 hours trying to debug one of the questions and I ended up just making it 10 times worse. I ended up taking it down stairs and having one of my friends down there (who was still awake at that evil time) helps me. It took him 10 mins! I was kinda upset, but it makes since. Sometimes you get lost when you've been staring at the same lines of code for that long and it's easer to have a fresh pair of eyes to look it over.

Oh yeah! Last week my jewelry box came in....I love it! It's big and had more than enough space, but most importantly, it's something that is organize-able. That's right everything has a place in it! The reason that I bought this one is because it has little hooks for necklaces so that they can be hanging up all nice and neat! I love it and it loves me! :)

This weekend was rather unproductive. Friday night a few of us went to a lecture hall and watched The Little Mermaid...I love that movie! Then Saturday I went into Boston with Gina and Alison. They had Library books to return and we also bought theatre tickets. That's right I'm going to a play! And looking forward to it so much! We're going to see Chicago at The Wang (I hear it's one of the bigger Boston theatres). The play's not until after finals (on the 21st of May) and we're mostly going to celebrate my birthday (the other excuses are to celebrate making it through out first year at MIT and just so that we can get all dressed up). We're all really looking forward to it, but keeping our eyes on the closer break of SPRING BREAK!! YIPPIE!! One more week, that's what I keep telling myself: one more week, one more test, then I've got a bit of free time! Oh I can’t wait!
