What Happened to the Witch Trials?

The next day (that would be Thursday, December 28, 2007) we meet up with Fish and Alisonc for breakfast/lunch at that old place next to Quincy market . . . that one Amy took Alisonc and I too—one of you will have to give me the name at some point—or it might be in one of those pictures . . . oh well, too lazy to look right now!

And they made me take a picture with the scary lobster!

Anyway—after that we went out to Salem and did some touristing there. It was fun! Mommy was disappointed by the fact that she didn't get to see the Gallo (that place where they put the witches before they hung them) and anything else that actually had anything to do with that whole “She’s a witch! She’s a witch!” nonsense. It was all good though, cause we did get to see some histarical stuff . . .

Isn't this a purdy boat?
(that's all I know about it!)

Mommy did get to see where the trials were held . . .

The closest my mom got to the witches:

After Salem we drove down to Back Bay and Amy met us at one of my favorite restaurants—Addis Red Sea. It’s an Ethiopian joint that’s kinda in the basement, but really it’s kinda huge—strange how a place downstairs can have it’s own downstairs! It was (like always) delicious.

Once we where all “full” from dinner the six of us piled into Fish’s car . . .

. . . Fish's five person car. . .

. . . and went to Tosci’s for dessert.

Tosci's is a shop that knows who their target audience is:

There's a power supply cable hanging from in the center of the big table!
