O' Glorious Watch

My mommy bought me this wonderful watch this summer...it has 19 different colored bands & faces! It's a very glorious watch. I can almost always match what I'm wearing (I've found that I wear a lot of different shades that dont necessarily go well with the options it has)...It works really well with both of my colorful new skorts.

At any rate, it came in this really nice box...had slits to hold the face rings and kept the bands displayed nicely. The only problem with it was that it was way to big...it was strangely shaped and hard to store (big foot print) and quite awkward to get the watches out (I had to move too many things around). So, I needed a solution to this problem so that I could fully enjoy my new watch...

I took the little silver jewelry box that I got from Nanny's and modified it so that I could store my watch in there. The modification was quite simple...it originally had 3 compartments on the right side, so I cut the plastic supports and hot glued a bit of it down so that the bottom would still be completely covered with the anti-scratchy lining. I really like that I'm able to keep all of the face rings in the 'ring holder' section of the box...it helps keep them from scratching each other.

So now I have added a little something shiny to my Girly Corner...
