testing is over! yippie! (for now)

ARG, last week was so bad!!! It was really long: so many tests, so much to remember! Oh, well. It's over for now. I'm switching from 18.01A to 18.01 (Calcs). It's good though; a little less work and I understand the stuff a lot better. Yeah, that was last week. That was all of it! How sad is that!?!?!

The weekend was fun, for the most part. Saturday I had the AFOQT (Air Force Officer Qualifying Test). It was SO long! 5 hours for a test is just disgusting. I'm really glad that it was in the morning though because that means that it was over by 12:30. But still, getting up at 6:45, for my test at 7:00, was not fun. (Not that I over slept, I wanted to wake up at that time: I went in my PJs.)

Anyway, after the test I had a lesson in accessing the internet (so that we could access the internet at other colleges around here). It was for "Awesomeness," one of Vimal's schemes....It really doesn't matter much, but it's a good story. I'm not allowed to tell about this particular scheme in writing (that gives too much proof), but it was a good one....If you really wanna know you can call me and I'll tell you all about it, but let's just say that we spend Saturday afternoon wandering the streets of Boston looking for wireless internet access and having a good time!

I got invited to a frat formal Saturday night, but I couldn't go. The guy, Ben, called me too late in the afternoon for me to be able to get back to MIT from BU, where we were doing the wandering at that time, and still have time to get dresseded up. Oh well! Actually, he didn't end up going either, something about he couldn't find a date.....I donno, not my fault! We hung out later that night, with some of the other guys on his hall (right below mine) and had fun anyway.

Sunday went just like last week did. All I did was Tool! ICK. oh well, I have tomorrow night off to do laundry and get myself a head of the game, rather than just right on time. Maybe, I may just relax and do nothing....I donno yet.

This morning I had LLAB again. 4:40 came REALLY early! I had to be in full service dress. I was in uniform all day long. It wasn't all that bad, I had to sit up and not move very much because it is very stiff, but over all it wasn't so bad. However, I think my coat is a little big, so I need to take it back to the Det tomorrow and maybe get a smaller size. I know I need to go by the drycleaner's in the student center and get my skirt and pants (and if my jacket is the right size, it too) hemmed and fitted. I also think that I would like to have my shirts fitted if I can get away with it because the military tuck is so hard for me. I can't seem to keep a nice fold in the side of the shirt because my hips are so much wider than my waist.....does that make séance? I hope so. I just wanna look good! Anyway, today was the last LLAB before ORI/IDE (Individual Drill Evaluation is what I will take/do/happen to me, whatever I should say; they will tell me how good my marching is and all of that lovely stuff). I'll be evaluated on how well I can dress myself and march and all of that good stuff. So far at the practice evaluations I have been doing great....I got a 72 (top in the squadron, wa-hoo!) at the first one and an "excellent" on the second. I'm just hoping that I can relax when the Cadre is evaluating me, that's all I really need is to relax.

I went running with an Army ROTC guy (Steven, he's on the hall above me) tonight at 8. I ran 2 miles, plus about a quarter mile of sprints. He's in better shape than me, and he ran 3 miles....but I'm working on that one. It was fun. We decided that we are going to go every Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday at the same time; get into a routine.....It'll be fun. Well, I think that is about it.....Not much new going on out here. I should get to bed now cause I have been up for quite a while! Bye!
