Well, I made it through round two of tests. I didn't do so hot on the Chem test....actually I failed, but in my defense it was a real butt kicking test! The average score was 54....50 is passing! I did better than quite a few people, just not better than most. Oh well, it's pass/no record and I'm sure I can still pass the class. I just need to take advantage that even the final is easier than this test was! Anyway, I also had my Physics test on Thursday. I passed with a B. So, now I'm doing better in the class, and I'll probably end up with a B in the class. I'm not so worried about failing it now though, so that's good and I won't have to take it over! Yippie!
So, other than tests this has not been a busy week. I've been tooling mostly, although I did relax a little and watched a few movies. Leadership Lab was uneventful. We did little deployment exercise. There was a Deployment Briefing (where you find out what your mission is and what to look out for when you are there--we were shown parts of a real briefing and told what to expect during briefings), Out-Processing/Pre-Combat Inspection (where you stand in line and check in and get your orders and stuff as to where you go and what group you are in), Instruction time (they taught us formations that are used in the field and how to use the military compasses), and Land Navigation Competition (we got to follow directions and navigate to little pink spoons around the field). It was kinda fun.
Sense Sunday is Halloween I got a costume at the Garment District. It's a really pretty kinda medieval style dress, but it didn't fit right around the arms and shoulders. So this afternoon I used a friends' sewing machine and fixed it. It's not perfect, but it looks really good now and I'm all ready for Halloween! I also helped one of my other friends make a cape; she's being "the Mistress of Krotus." Krotus, by the way is the "God" of 5th East, the hall above me...don't ask, it's weird and not really worth the time to find out about and explain. But anyway, it was fun. We are both done now and ready to start celebrating Halloween! Yippie!
